User Data Deletion Request Instructions
This document outlines the procedure for requesting the deletion of personal data that OSINITY PTE. LTD. ("Osinity," "we," "us") holds as a result of your use of our Facebook Application integration (associated with our Services, sometimes referred to as "Pacing App"). Compliance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) is paramount in this process.
Scope of Deletion Request
This procedure applies specifically to personal data processed and stored within Osinity's systems due to the connection you established between your Facebook account and our Services. This data may include:
- Authentication tokens and identifiers linking your Facebook profile to our Service.
- User-defined configurations for automations involving Facebook integration.
- Data retrieved via the Facebook API and temporarily cached or stored by Osinity solely for the purpose of providing the agreed-upon Service functionality (e.g., performance metrics used for reporting within our platform).
Important Clarification: This process exclusively concerns data held by Osinity. It does not affect, modify, or delete any data residing directly on Facebook's platform (e.g., your Facebook profile information, ad campaigns, Pages, assets stored in Facebook's media library, historical ad data within Facebook Ads Manager). To manage data held by Facebook, please refer to Facebook's own data policy and account settings.
Procedure for Requesting Data Deletion
To initiate a request for the deletion of your relevant data held by Osinity, please adhere to the following steps:
-
Submit a Request via Email: Send an email clearly stating your request to our designated contact point:
Email Address: [jj@osinity.com]
-
Required Subject Line: Use the specific subject line:
Facebook App Data Deletion Request - [Your Name or Business Name]
-
Information Required for Identification: To enable us to accurately locate and verify your data for deletion, please include the following details within the body of your email:

Our Deletion Process and Timeline
Upon receiving a request conforming to the above procedure:
- Acknowledgement: We will typically acknowledge receipt of your request via email within ten (10) Singapore business days.
- Verification: We will undertake reasonable steps to verify your identity as the individual associated with the data requested for deletion. We may contact you if additional information is required for verification. Processing cannot commence until identity is reasonably verified.
- Processing: Following successful verification, we will proceed to delete the relevant personal data from our active databases and systems in accordanceance with this policy and applicable law.
- Completion Timeline: We aim to complete verified deletion requests without undue delay, and generally within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of successful verification. We will notify you upon completion or if processing is expected to take longer due to complexity.
- Limitations: Please be aware that deletion may be subject to certain limitations under the PDPA or other applicable laws. For instance, we may be required to retain certain information for legal, regulatory, security, or legitimate business record-keeping purposes. Furthermore, data residing in backup systems will be removed over time according to our standard backup rotation schedules, but will remain isolated and protected from further processing until deletion.
Revoking Facebook Permissions
You retain control over the permissions granted to our application via your Facebook account settings. Revoking permissions through Facebook will prevent our application from accessing your Facebook data prospectively (from that point forward). However, please note that this action alone does not automatically trigger the deletion of data previously collected and held by Osinity. To request deletion of data held by us, please follow the email procedure outlined in Section 3.
Contact for Queries
Should you have any questions specifically regarding this data deletion process or your rights under the PDPA in relation to data held by Osinity, please contact us at the email address provided in Section 3.
This procedure is subject to applicable Singapore law, including the Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
